- Subnational island governments shall submit the Application Form(*) along with the required documents to the ITOP Secretariat.

Step 02 Administrative Review
- The ITOP Secretariat and the Member Regions will conduct a preliminary review of the application to verify its completeness and assess whether the applicant meets the basic eligibility requirements.
- (The application is evaluated based on its alignment with the objectives of the ITOP Forum, potential contributions to the network, and commitment to sustainable tourism development)
Step 03 Final Approval Process
- Following the evaluation process, the Secretariat determines whether the application will proceed for final approval.
Step 04 Official Admission & Confirmation
- Successful applicants will receive an official notification of admission into the ITOP Forum
